What is "Deeya"?

"Deeya" is the Arabic word for "lights". Without light, there is no colour. Design, being the ideal synthesis of form and colour, could not exist without light. And here at Deeya Design, we love when good form meets beautiful colours!

Why colour?

Each colour expresses a mood; in combination with other colours, it becomes even more telling. Something red might signify caution or passion or even anger. Combine it with green and all of a sudden you’re in the mood for egg nog.

Colour also goes through trends. Remember your mom's old kitchen appliances? The ones that were an odd army green colour? Try asking for that at your local store now. (But you can get a rusty orange washer and dryer combo. Go figure.)

Here at Deeya Design, we want colour to be an expression of you and your needs. Combine that with good form and you’ve got great design!
